This Privacy Policy explains how Travel with Memories (the "Service"), at travelwithmemories.com, collects, uses, and protects your information. The Service is operated by PAJAJ HOLDING & CO shpk (NIPT M61319059B), Albania, the data controller responsible for your personal data. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. What the Service does

Travel with Memories is a travel photo-album app: you create trips, upload photos, see them on a map by where they were taken, relive them on a timeline, generate recap videos, and optionally share albums with a partner or friends. An account is required; a free photo allowance is included, with optional paid packs for more capacity.

2. Information we collect

What we do NOT collect

• No advertising or cross-site tracking profiles.
• No contact lists or address books.
• No continuous background or precise device location.
• No card numbers — payments are handled entirely by our payment provider.
• We never sell your personal data, and never use it to train AI.

What we do collect

• Account information — email and display name, from email/password or Google sign-in.
• Content you upload — trips, photos, captions, descriptions.
• Photo metadata (EXIF) — capture date and GPS coordinates, to map and order photos.
• Usage data — photo counts per trip, to apply your free allowance and packs.
• Payment data — processed directly by POK; we receive only the order status and amount, never your card number.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the Service: store your trips and photos and show them back to you.
• To place photos on a map and build your travel statistics.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process payments for additional photo capacity.
• To operate features you choose, such as sharing a trip or linking a partner.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use only essential browser storage — no advertising or tracking cookies. We do not sell data and do not track you across other sites.

• Account, trips & photos — kept while your account is active.
• Deleted photos/trips — removed from our database and storage when you delete them.
• Order/payment records — kept as required for accounting and legal obligations.
• Account deletion — email info@travelwithmemories.com and we delete your account and data within 30 days (except records required by law).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@travelwithmemories.com; we respond within 30 days.

8. International transfers

Our providers (e.g. Google Firebase) may process data on servers outside your country, including in the EU and the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, 16 in parts of the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted, and we never store your full card details. No system is perfectly secure, so we also recommend keeping your own backups of important photos.

When you sign in with Google, we access your basic profile (name, email, profile picture) solely to create and secure your account, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above; please review periodically.

EEA / UK (GDPR)

Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (securing and improving it), consent (optional features), and legal obligation (accounting). You have the rights in Articles 15–22 GDPR and may complain to your local supervisory authority. International transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We collect the categories above (identifiers, user content, commercial/payment information, internet activity such as photo counts). You may know, delete, and correct your personal information.
